JASTRO PTB 2026 – Particle Therapy Biology

TERAPET will take part in JASTRO PTB 2026 – Particle Therapy Biology, taking place from July 24 to 25, 2026 at the Hulic Akihabara Building – Akiba Plaza in Tokyo, Japan.

Organized by the Japanese Society for Radiation Oncology (JASTRO) Particle Therapy Section together with the National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology (QST), the meeting will gather clinicians, medical physicists, biologists, researchers and industry partners working on the future of proton and ion beam therapy, with particular attention to biological response, treatment precision, imaging integration and adaptive radiation oncology workflows.

The 2026 edition, chaired by Prof. Hitoshi Ishikawa (QST Hospital), will focus on the theme:
“Learning from the Past: From Pioneer to True Leader”

As part of the congress, TERAPET will present its vision for PET-based in-vivo verification and integrated particle therapy workflows, with ongoing developments focused on treatment verification, clinical integration and adaptive strategies in particle therapy.

During the event, Vanessa La Rosa, Ph.D. from TERAPET will also deliver a dedicated talk related to the company’s latest developments in in-vivo PET verification technologies for particle therapy. Further details about the presentation will be announced soon.

TERAPET will participate in the congress as guest of our Japanese distributor Anzai Medical, supporting the expansion of advanced particle therapy verification technologies within the Japanese market.
