Particle Therapy

Particle therapy delivers radiation with high spatial precision, enabling highly localized dose delivery to the tumor while limiting exposure to surrounding healthy tissues. Yet treatment accuracy depends on whether the particle beam reaches the planned position and range during irradiation. Today, verification is mainly performed before treatment through phantom-based quality assurance, leaving limited visibility on what is actually delivered in the patient. Terapet develops PET-based verification solutions designed to close this gap, extending particle therapy control from pre-treatment QA to patient-specific assessment based on measured treatment-induced activity.
