Terapet will participate in the Workshop on Advanced Technologies for Individualised and Adaptive Radiotherapy, taking place in Stockholm on 19–20 November 2026.
The workshop is part of the preparatory work towards establishing a Centre for Medical Radiation Research, a joint initiative of Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm University and Region Stockholm.
The programme will focus on technologies enabling individualised and adaptive radiotherapy, including advanced imaging, treatment planning, digital twins, real-time monitoring and adaptive photon and proton therapy.
Terapet will contribute to the programme with two presentations:
- “PET-based proton verification systems” – Christina Vallgren, Terapet
- “Real-time in-vivo dose monitoring during proton therapy: the clinical perspective” – Raymond Miralbell
The workshop will also include contributions from RaySearch and Skandion Clinic on the implementation of in-beam PET information for range verification and adaptive planning, as well as the clinical validation and development of practical workflows for PET-based proton verification systems.
